Another kick in the teeth

Last week was another progress meeting and another kick in the teeth, After all andrews hard work and good progress his rehab team came to a descion that they could not do any more for him! this is another massive blow for andrew and us as we , and so does he feel that he is making progress slow but still progress his swallowing is getting better by the day but the phyiso's said that they are only maintaning him now which i dont belive at all. the next meeting is on the 29th of jan then we have to find somewhere else for him.As local people from tarbert no there is no where in tarbert that is suitable for him at the moment but we are not going to give up we still belive andrew will walk again and i have been doing some research on the internet and found that in america they use HYPERBARIC OXYGEM THERAPY for treating brain injuryed people so weve taking steps to see if andrew can use the HYPERBARIC CHAMBER in glasgow's MS centre so we hope to hear soon about that.(Any body that is intrested in finding out more about HBOT can type it into google) For now we have still got to belive in andrew which we do and keep our heads held high and try and do our best for andrew because he needs us now more than ever with xmas coming up. His mood has been prity low the last couple of weeks but he is strong and with everybodys support and help hopefully he can get through this even though this is now the second rehab hospital to give up on him and we all no what happened after the first hospital gave up on him he started doing things they said he would never do again!! TALKING FOR ONE!!!!
